Getaway Lounge operated in conjunction with the long running Getaway TV Travel show on Channel Nine. Providing viewers with the best travel deals that accompanied the segment destinations. In October 2013, Nine purchased Microsoft’s 50% share of Mi9 to create Nine.com.au at which time Getaway Lounge was sold.
